Why should I use graphic design for my small business?

Graphic design is important for small businesses because it helps them create a visual identity that can be used across various platforms, such as websites, social media, and print materials. A strong visual identity can help a small business stand out in a crowded market, attract customers, and convey important information about the business. Additionally, graphic design can help to improve the overall user experience of a website or digital platform and increase engagement by helping users feel safe and secure browsing online.

At LC3 Creative, we believe graphic design can help small businesses establish credibility, build brand awareness, and ultimately drive sales. We can't wait to get started on graphic design with you and your small business.

Wildlife & Landscape Photography

In the early part of 2023, a large nest and family of Eagles in West Point (just outside of Calcutta, Ohio) took the area by storm. The parents brought two little eaglets into the world and the site garnered the attention of hundreds of local amateur and professional photographers, as well as people who just wanted to enjoy the experience. We met Jim at this very spot and bought some of his work immediately after, from there our relationship grew into something that would greatly benefit both parties.

After a few conversations, Jim Gregio was looking for a way to sell his pieces online and figured while he was at it - why not go for a new logo? At LC3 Creative, we like to meet each client exactly where they are, hear their inspirations and goals - then we take that and design a few logo concepts to suit the mission statement.

Our goals are as follows:

  • Establish the brand bible for our client (font choices, color palette, aesthetic, and emotion driving touch points)
  • Create visually appealing designs that convey the proper message from each business
  • Be unique, it's okay to not reinvent the wheel but add a personal touch to all we do
  • Diversification, meeting and networking with individuals of all industries to open new creative doors
  • Collaboration, we like to work with people who are better than us - because we get to learn hands on
  • Follow time tested graphic design standards, and optimal device size specifications

With Jim Gregio Photography, we found his love of national parks to be his primary message we wanted to convey to customers. Our designs tried to feature this as a focal point, and we played around with different fonts, clip art, and even wording.

After presenting our concepts to Jim, he picked his favorite almost instantly - what he didn't know was that it was our favorite too! We then took the logo and created it in a variety of formats; solid black, solid orange, solid white, multi-color for dark backgrounds, and multi-color for light backgrounds.
